Mark Henry is a producer, production coordinator and local fixer with more than 25 years across documentary, unscripted television, feature film, commercial and branded production. I combine production leadership with deep hands-on experience in production sound, audio supervision and post-production. Based in Southern Utah / Greater Zion, I work regionally, nationally and internationally.
From planning to final delivery
I support productions from pre-production through field execution, post-production and final delivery. My experience includes international documentaries, remote locations, aviation-supported work and productions involving specialty vehicles and complex logistics.

About Mark
I lead projects from planning through delivery, working across budgets, schedules, crew and vendor sourcing, locations, field logistics and technical workflows. My production and sound background helps me anticipate needs across departments and solve problems quickly in changing field conditions.
I am Co-Founder / Co-Owner of Filmstead Media and Founder & President of HI MARK Productions / Mark Sound.
Teaching & mentorship
Academic appointments include professorships at the American Film Institute and John Paul the Great Catholic University. At AFI, I developed and taught curriculum connecting production sound with the complete post-production sound process and supervised Cycle, Thesis and Directing Workshop for Women productions in a program delivering more than 85 films annually. At JPCatholic, I developed and taught production sound, post-production sound and Freelancing & The Gig Economy / Business for Creatives, connecting creative practice to client work, production services, budgets and a 15-person, three-division studio model. I continue to mentor filmmakers and creative professionals beyond the classroom.
